Mandy Szewczuk

After completing a master’s degree in literature and creative writing, Mandy spent a year teaching English in Nagoya, Japan. Returning home, she joined a former broker-dealer/investment advisory firm in 2007, providing suppose in several departments including business processing, commissions, operations, and marketing. Mandy now works with advisors as the lead of Evolution Financial Advisor’s virtual assistant program and is part of the marketing and events team. Her specialties include themed parties and getting advisors to make crafts.

Currently living in Irondequoit, New York, Mandy tries to recreate new and favorite Japanese foods while also writing professionally and recreationally, activities she balances with daily outdoor runs and hikes with her dog, Truffle. She has volunteered with local animal rescue organizations, Random Acts, and LGBTQIA+ youth. Mandy is also a sculptor and digital artist who has shown pieces in galleries across the country. On vacations, she likes to explore obscure historical locations.
